VALENTINE TOP NOTE PURSE

Tonight is my Valentine Workshop and I am a bit nervous in anticipation that everyone will enjoy themselves.  I wanted to make a few door prizes and this is one of them.  

Top Note die (#113463) and Scallop Circle die (#113468)

Using the Top Note and Scallop Circle dies I decorated the Box #2 die by Stampin' Up.  I used designer paper that I bought at Target in the dollar bin section. 

Box #2 bigzx xl die (#114518)

This is what the inside of the purse looks like.  I cut off the side tabs and top cover of the Box #2 die.  To close the purse I used a velcro dot.  The Top Note was trimmed to 3 1/8", one for the front and one for the back of the purse.

This is the back side.  I used sticky tape and glued the back side of the scallop circle to the box.  Then punched holes and added some cute heart shaped brads to the top.  Used red sheer ribbon to form the purse strap.

Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslits die (#117332)

For the embossed hearts I used the Scalloped Heart embosslit.  If you happen to be coming tonight, you maybe the winner of this cute little Top Note purse.  It will be filled with some sweets.
