Celebrate 4th of July

Good morning blog friends!

Can't believe we'll be celebrating our Independence Day in about a month.  My Close to My Heart hostess club will be making this 4th of July layout next month.  I used the Artbooking cartridge to cut most of the design.

The 4th of July title was cut from the Stand and Salute cartridge.  I'm looking forward to sharing this layout with the 12 ladies in my CTMH club.  Thanks for stopping by and please come back again.

Just Be Happy!

Happy Memorial Day!

When you come in contact with someone that is feeling down or acting negative, don't you wish you could say, "Just Be Happy!"

Counting my blessings and being grateful for what God gives me, helps me stay happy.

I used a layout sketch created by my friend Rochelle Spears.  Thanks Rochelle for the inspiration!

Father's Day Gift Crad

It's Friday!

Oh wow this week just flew by so quickly.  I've been busy getting ready for my Close To My Heart workshop with 12 awesome ladies.  This is a quick gift card holder that they will do as a Make and Take.

When open, there's a pocket for you to pop in a gift card.  The Close To My Heart (CTMH) stamp set "You're the Best" (#C1571) was used to decorate the card.

The Artiste cartridge is exclusive to CTMH and it has so many fabulous cuts.  You can find the gift card holder on page 55.  I cut it at
4 3/4 inches.

Enjoy a great and safe Memorial Day weekend!

Spring Is In The Air!

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers' Day.  I felt very blessed spending the day with my daughter and two of my granddaughters.

I love the images on the Sweet Sentiments collection by Graphic 45.  These images make it quick and easy to compile a beautiful layout.

For the photo mats I used Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection.

Hope you start your week crafting and enjoying each day that the Lord gives us.

ENJOY!

Happy Wednesday!

As summer draws near, I decided to pull out some pictures from past summers.  These are five of my six grandchildren four years ago.  On a visit to San Diego we toured several city sites.

Enjoyed a few hours of family time at the park.

We stopped at the beach, relaxed and spent a fun day at the beach.

Enjoy your day and please come back again.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Monday!

Just wanted to share that it was my birthday this past weekend and I had a wonderful day.   I didn't have much time to craft but I did try making the card in a box.

I thought it was going to be much more difficult, but  if you follow the instructions  on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/popupboxcard/
it is much easier.  I plan to make a few more for Mother's and Father's Day.

Hope you enjoyed your visit.

A Place In Time - June 2014

It's Friday!

I immediately fell in love with Graphic 45's A Place In Time paper line.  I regret not getting each month of the year, but hopefully I will find this paper again.

This one is the month of June and the images are really pretty.  I used flowers by Recollections and the Stampin' Up Little Leaf sizzlet die.  The butterflies are the Vivienne Butterfly by Memory Box, Inc.

My friend Dee was kind enough to cut the doily for me but I failed to get the name of the die she used.

Hope you get to create some amazing paper craft projects this weekend.
