J-O-Y

Joy to everyone!

Well we're at the countdown to Christmas and here's another Christmas layout I made.

I mostly used Close To My Heart supplies from the Yuletide Carol paper pack and complements.

I added red Stickles and red sequins to embellish this layout.  Hope it will inspire you to scrapbook.

Snowman Tin Hat

Hello my friends,

Christmas is only a week away and I'm still running around shopping and making last minute decorations.  These cute snowmen tin hats had been in the making for 3 weeks, but then I got sick and didn't finish them.

I made two of them, one for me and the other for my daughter.  We had seen them at a gift shop and I decided to try making one.

The top part is a small paint can painted black and glued to a chipboard circle.  Used pretty ribbon and holiday picks to decorate them.  I didn't do this, but you can fill the cans with candy or other goodies for a nice gift.

Have a joyful day!

Memories

Good Monday morning!

For some time I have been wanting to buy the Anna Griffin Elegant Embellishments cartridge.  This weekend I found it on sale at Joann's, horray!  The white background was cut from this fantastic cart.

The title "Memories" was also cut from this cartridge.  The Santa and reindeer stickers are by Jolee.

This was our family in 2001, celebrating Christmas at Knotts Berry Farm.  At that time I only had two granddaughters.  This photo brings back many happy memories.

Thank you for stopping by.

White Tulle Wreath

Happy December 1st!

Wow! Christmas will soon be here.  Have you started putting up your holiday decorations?  I'm almost done.  I finished my second wreath which I found on Pinterest.

I got most of my supplies from the Dollar Store so I'm happy with the results and the fact it didn't cost me a lot.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and enjoy your week!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing everyone a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.

Hoping I will get back into scrapbooking next week.  With the recent death of my sister, I have not been very creative.  I am saddened by her absence but I believe in the glory of God and that she is in Heaven with Him and no longer suffering.

Pillow Box Utensil Holder

Hello Bloggers!

The holidays are fast approaching and I found this quick tutorial on how to make some utensil holders using the Pillow Box die by Sizzix.   Go to

These are great if you're entertaining for Christmas.

I'll be having Thanksgiving dinner at my house so I'm making them for this occasion.  My goal is to make at least 15 to 20 holders.

I've already started setting the table.  Hope you liked this idea and I'm thankful that you stopped by.

Waterfall Folio

 Welcome!

I've been away for a few weeks, but now I'm back.  I'm sharing this Graphic 45 Waterfall Folio made with the An Eerie Tale collection.

I found a great tutorial on how to make this awesome mini album.  Go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLbHLZUAPeo&feature=share Ginger from My Sisters Scrapper did a wonderful job of posting the instructions.

This is the inside view with a pocket on the right side for several tags, also from the same collection.  On the left side is the waterfall of 7 photo mats.

This paper collection was a delight to use.  I loved the beautiful colors on the images.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy some crafting today!

Skull Straws

Are you ready for Halloween?

I saw this free project on the Cricut Design Space.  It was easy to cut and assemble.

The straws were on sale at Michaels and the skull design on them were ideal for this project.

I decorated and filled two mason jars with candy. They make great spooky centerpieces.

Thank you for stopping by and have a happy day.

Autumn Canvas Wreath

Good morning fellow crafters!

Today I want to share my first ever canvas wreath.  I had been wanting to make one for a long time.  I watched a couple of videos on You Tube and finally figured out how to make it.

I'm happy with the results being that it was my first one and will probably make another one for Christmas.  Thanks for stopping by and hope you've been inspired to craft something today!

Christmas Bauble Card

Welcome to another week!

I'm getting the itch to start making my Christmas cards.  I bought a few new toys to play with recently.

I used the new Stampin' Up Christmas Bauble stamp set and the Filigree Embossing Folder.  There is some cutting and coloring but even then this is a super easy and quick card.

Have a super week!

Penny's Card Class

Are you having a great week?

Whenever I craft, I know I'm having a good time.  This week I went to my friend Penny Silva's card class and these are the cards we made.

The cards on the left side are the designs Penny had as samples.  The ones on the right are my tweaked version.

I loved every single card and enjoyed Penny's class a lot.

All the product we used was from Stampin' Up.  Thanks Penny for sharing your creativity.

Minnie

Good morning!

Hope everyone is having a good start to their day.  I was a bit busy yesterday and unable to post my Minnie page layout, but here it is today.

Minnie is one of my favorites and I love the colors that go with her.

I'm always trying to use up what I have and all the papers are from my stash.  I used the Mickey and Friends cartridge to cut Minnie, her name and the swirls.  I tried to keep my layout simple but cute.

Thanks for visiting.

Halloween

Good morning and welcome to my blog!

October is here and soon we will be celebrating Halloween.

I found this beautiful Halloween title on my new Cricut Explore, along with the bats, witch and moon cut outs.  I love how the Explore gives me access to so many images.

\

The designer paper is from My Mind's Eye Halloween scary sparkled paper stack.  I used the Martha Stewart punch to make the orange spider web and then added rhinestones.

Looking forward to an exciting weekend.  Please come back again.
