ROYAL DIVA

Happiness is here ... It's Friday!

Even though this was a great week, its always great when the weekend starts.  I'm finishing off the week with this layout of one of my "little royal divas."

On this corner I folded over the edge after stamping a doily image and inking the edge.

Distressed a small doily and layered it with a pretty pink flower.

Cut "Royal Diva" from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge and dotted it with Stickles.

Supplies used:

Webster's Pages Ladies and Gents paper
Once Upon a Princess cartridge
Lime Green Stickles
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
lace and rhinestones by Recollections
Delicate Doilies stamp set by Stampin' Up
striped grosgrain ribbon by Stampin' Up

Have yourself a fun and safe weekend.

SISTERS

A great day to everyone!

I used Webster's Page Ladies and Gents designer paper to create this layout of my two granddaughters.

The letters for SISTERS  were cut with the Lovely Floral cartridge.  I distressed the doilies with Tim Holtz' vintage photo ink and loved the way they turned out.  Couldn't resist adding the butterflies with the Martha Stewart punches.

Both the black rhinestone flourish and the lace ribbon are by Recollections.  Added rhinestones and Diamond Stickles to the flowers that I bought at a 99 Cent Store.  Lastly, the Bliss ticket is by Tim Holtz.

Thanks for visiting.

Little Darlings Mini Tri-Fold Album

Good Monday morning!

What a busy and fun-filled weekend I had.  I stopped at Kandyland to crop for awhile and worked on this 4 x 4 mini tri-fold album.

This album is very easy to make.  You take an 8" x 11 1/2" piece of designer paper.  Fold it in half on the 11 1/2" side and then score at 3 1/2" on the left side and  at 4" on the right side.  Add about 18 inches of decorative ribbon to the outer piece of the album.  Now you're ready to decorate and embellish, embellish, embellish your album!

The tags measure  3 1/4" x 5" and are made with regular cardstock and decorated with stickers and flowers.  You can place photos on the back of the tags.

Each of the chipboard pictures have pockets so you can tuck small photos or little tags inside.

The inside of the album can also be used to add more photos.  For that reason you don't glue the sides and the ribbon will hold everything together.

This is the back side of the album and the end of my post.  Hope you liked it!

Final Little Darlings Mini Album

Good Friday morning!

It took me all week, but I finally finished my mini album with this adorable designer paper by Graphic 45.  This mini is going to be a gift for a special mother-to-be.  I hope she likes it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Hope you liked this mini and if you have any questions, please leave me a comment.  Have a very blessed weekend.

Little Darlings Mini Album

Good morning friends!

Today I have a small sneak peek of a mini album I started this weekend.  I used Graphic 45's new paper collection "Little Darlings."

The images on this DSP are so adorable.  I will post the rest of my mini later this week, so I hope you'll come back to see it.

Have a beautiful day!

Change your mind today by hanging your words.  As you think thoughts of faith and victory, habits, bad attitudes and those wrong mindsets will begin to deteriorate and you will begin to see yourself the way God sees you and experience the abundance God has for you.

FANCY NANCY - PART I

Welcome to my blog.

One of the reasons I love scrapbooking is because there is always something new to learn, new products, and never ending ideas.  I had never heard of Fancy Nancy until I saw this product line by Making Memories at Michaels.  It attracted my attention immediately because of the cute little girl designs.

I will be posting more layouts made with this collection.  I'm infatuated and addicted to this Posh papercrafting pad.  I've decided to dedicate a whole album to Fancy Nancy.  So bare with me for the next few days as I attempt to complete my album.

This is the paper pad and embellishments of Fancy Nancy that you can find at Michaels on sale for 60% off this week.

Thanks for visiting.

MOTHER

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I had a good time cropping at Scrappin' Time located @ 5915 South Eastern, Las Vegas, Nevada.

The nicest compliment anyone can give is when they tell you that you have inspired them.  My friend Dee from Scrappin' Time made me feel special when she told me I had inspired her.  Actually I think she inspires me.  She made this beautiful 2-page layout using her punches.

Dee is an instructor at Scrappin' Time and she is very talented.  She allowed me to share her layout with you.

Recently, I had made a layout using several different borders punched with a few of my Martha Stewart punches and that is what inspired Dee.  Sometimes we forget to use the tools we own and then we see something and realize we own it.

Thank you Dee for being my guest designer today.

Hope you come back tomorrow!

Lil' Primrose Mini Album

Thank God It's Friday!

Another week has gone by so quickly.  I've been working on this mini album all week and finally finished it.  Using my leftover paper and embellishments from the Lil' Primrose collection this is what I came up with.  So pull up a chair and take a look.

The front sticker says, "DIVAS are not made, they are born."  The pocket was embossed with the Swiss dots impressions folder.  The picture frame on the right side was cut with a Spellbinders die.  It's hard to see but the top label says, "The perfect shoes can change your life Cinderella."

The little girls in the Kaiser Craft collectables package are adorable.  Here I added another Spellbinders die frame, pink doily and Diamond Stickles.

Another Spellbinders frame along with a heart decorated with Stampin' Up's blushing bride pleated satin ribbon.

Very cute teapot and cups from the collectables package.

We're getting close to the end.  Here again, are more of the Spellbinders frames.  Used some more of the pleated ribbon, Recollections pink pearl swirl, tags and shoe from the collectables.

The end.
Added lime green and diamond Stickles, pearls and white tulle.

Wishing everyone a blessed weekend.

Friends Forever

Here in Vegas, it was a very windy and rainy day and a good day to stay inside and scrapbook.

A couple of weekends ago, I was at Scrappin' Time and my friend Sandy pulled out this beautiful designer sheet which caught my attention immediately.  Sandy was kind enough to give me a sheet from her stack.

I started my layout by using the "fuzzy cut" technique and adding an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of  bashful blue cardstock (CS).  Then I mounted this sheet to a black 12 x 12 CS for support.

Placed a black doily which was cut with the Stampin' Up doily die behind the picture.  The picture was mounted on blushing bride CS.  I added rhinestones around the picture.  A strip of black ribbon by Recollections was adhered to the left side.

Now to the fun stuff, embellishing my layout with die cuts by K and Company and a rhinestone swirl by Recollections.  So pretty!

"Friends forever" was cut from the Cricut Sampler cartridge and tons of Diamond Stickles were added.

I framed this layout because I plan to give it to my sister.  She and my friend Gloria have become good friends and I'm going to surprise her with it.

Hope you enjoyed this post and will come back to visit again.
