Easter Cards

Happy Thursday and welcome!

Last night I decided to make some last minute Easter cards using Stampin' Up's A Good Egg stamp set.

The little chick in the cracked egg is such a cute image.  I  used my Copic markers to color the chick.  Then I added Diamond Stickles to give it some dazzle.

On this card I used an Impressions Folder and did the braying technique for the background.  Hope you get to make some cards for those special people in your life.

Family Tree

Hi everyone and welcome!

I am excited to share this layout.  My friend Melissa designed this layout and I was inspired to make my own.

The tree was cut with the Cricut Pumpkin Carving
cartridge and the title letters with the Plantin
School cartridge.  The white circles are the mats for the pictures I plan to put on the tree.  The bottom label was cut with a Spellbinder die and it reads:

"Having somewhere to go is what we
call home.  Having someone to love, who
loves us in return, is what we call family.
Having both is a blessing."

The cuts on this page were made with the Lacy Labels cartridge. The paper line is the Black Currant
stack by DCWV.

This is the beautiful layout that Melissa designed.  Thank you Melissa for your inspiration!!

Baby Girl!

Hello Friends!

I continue to scrap more baby layouts for my friend Emily.  This page was done with Me and My Big Ideas paper line and embellishments.  I added some baby bibs that I had leftover from the baby shower.

Thanks for visiting and enjoy the rest of your week.

Precious Blessing

 Welcome !!

Today I have another baby layout to share.  I used my new Martha Stewart Floral Vine punch to decorate this page.

The flowers were made with Tim Holtz' Tattered Flowers die and the branches with Stampin' Up's little leaves sizzlet die.

I hope you enjoyed my post today and will come back next week to share in some more crafting with me.

Baby Mariah

Welcome blog friends!

I'm still on a high with the baby shower for my friend Emily.  I've decided to make a few more baby scrapbook pages for her.  This one was made with paper from Me and My Big Ideas.

The baby's name is "Mariah" and I used Martha Stewart glitter stickers to spell out her name.

This is one of the party favor boxes I made with the New Arrival and Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.  It's a little popcorn box that says, "She's about to pop."

Not a very good picture but this is another party favor box in the shape of a baby onsie.
This was cut with the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge.

Welcome Baby!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I had been awaiting the day for Emily's baby shower with great anticipation.  And, I was not disappointed.  It was a celebration to be remembered for a long time.  I was in charge of decorations and games and this baby diaper wreath was a joy to make for her.

Cecy made Emily a beautiful bouquet of baby socks and wipe cloths.

Lisa made her a gorgeous diaper cake box and filled it with diapers.  She decorated it with the colors of the baby's nursery.

One of our invited guests made this beautiful three-tier diaper cake.

Besides enjoying good food and fun games we enjoyed each others company by scrapbooking pages for Emily's baby scrapbook.

As I said this was a fun-filled celebration we will remember for a long time.  Now we just have to wait for the arrival of little "Mariah."

Thank you for stopping by and sharing in our baby celebration.

Beautiful

Welcome!

Hope everyone had a great weekend.  I was blessed with lots to do.  I attended a day of CGS training at St. John Neumann Church, a birthday party for a little friend and ended the day cropping.  This page was one of my projects.

This is an old photo I recently found of  my sister Maria, my three cousins Martha, Terry and Rosalba and myself.  We look pretty happy.  Unfortunately I don't have a clue when or where it was taken.

Looking at this picture reminded me of a quote by
Audrey Hepburn:
 "For beautiful eyes look for the good in others;
for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness;
and for poise walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."

To cut the birdcage and water fountain I used the French
Manor cartridge and added pearls and pretty flowers
from my stash.

Supplies used:

Cricut Lite Lovely Floral cartridge
French Manor cartridge
Martha Stewart Bangle Chain punch
Sizzix Labels Collection Framelits by Stampin' Up
DCWV The Butterfly Garden paper stack
pink heart doily

Antique Flowers and Butterflies

Happy Friday!

Today I want to share a couple of cards I made with the Antique Flowers and Butterflies stamp and die-cut by Sizzix/Hero Arts.

This easel card was cut with the Top Note die by Stampin' Up.

I colored the images with Tim Holtz' distress markers and then cut them with the Grand Caliber by Spellbinders.

This is a tri-shutter card.  Closed it measures 4" x 5 1/2".  Again, I used the Antique Flowers and Butterflies stamp and die.  I also added Diamond Stickles.

You can find instructions on how to make a tri-shutter

Hope you are inspired to spend some time crafting.  Enjoy the weekend and please come back and visit.
