TGIF!!

I had a great week finishing off the rest of my chalk art pages.  This one is simple but I love it.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

You Make Me Happy!

Happy Wednesday!

Here's another layout with the DCWV's Chalk Art stack that I made at Lisa's crop.  Can you tell I'm in love with this paper and the pretty doily.

The doily is one of the free cuts that are available on the Cricut Explore.  I stamped and heat embossed the white flourish on the paper.  The stamp is from the Stampin' Up Elements of Style stamp set.

I still have a few more layouts with the chalk paper and I hope you're inspired to try it out.  Smile and continue to have a blessed week.

One Fine Day

Good morning!

Today I'm sharing another layout made with DCWV's Chalk Art stack.

I love the white doily that I cut from the Cricut Explore.  I've used it several times and will probably use it again.

I made several more layouts with the chalk paper and will be posting them soon.  Thanks for stopping by.

You Are My Sunshine

Hello blog friends!

This past weekend I was fortunate to be invited to a crop hosted by my friend Lisa Monter.  I decided to make as many layouts as possible with the DCWV Chalk Art Stack.

This is my granddaughter whose middle name is Sunshine.  So I thought this was so appropriate.

Hope you'll be back to view the rest of my Chalk Art layouts.

Love cards

Thank you for visiting!

I have a few more cards that I made on the Cricut Explore.  The cuts are so intricate and beautiful.

I made a few changes on each card but they are amazingly easy to put together.  This one even came with a matching  envelope.

On this one I will probably add a pretty ribbon that matches the colors in the card.

You can cut the card as is or customize it, which I did on this one.  The original one was a baby announcement, so I changed it.  I added some pretty pearls by Recollections and used the "love" cut from another card.

That's it.  I hope you're inspired to make some cards.

Beach Babes

Hello everyone!

Hope you had a great weekend.  I spent sometime shopping with my daughter for back to school clothes for both of my granddaughters.  Shopping was very tiring, but I did get to relax and scrap a bit. This is what I made.

I bought this cute paper by Reminisce called Blue Bubbly Fish at one of my favorite scrap stores, Wooten's Scrapbooking.

I'm finding it quick and easy to cut letters with the Explore font key.

I added my pictures from our trip to the Bahamas last year and I'm loving this layout.

Let me know what you think and be sure to come back.

Butterfly Kisses

Happy Friday!

I'm happy to say that I love cutting with my new Cricut Explore.  Both the butterflies overlay and white doilies were cut with the Explore.

The title for my layout was cut from the cartridge 3 Birds--Straight From the Nest.  Even though I don't own this cartridge I was able to cut from it because I have access through the Explore.

I love spending time with my granddaughters.  I also love their hugs and kisses.

Hope you have a great weekend and don't forget to come back soon.

Ornate Paper Clock

Welcome!

I have been busy making several projects on the Cricut Explore and this is one of them.  When I saw it as one of free projects, it was love at first sight.

This project only requires two cuts, but you have to cut 10 of each starting with the white back of the clock.

All 20 pieces are glued together in order to get the thickness of the clock.  It took awhile to complete this project, but it was worthwhile.  I hope you agree.

Hope you take a moment to leave a comment.

Anna Griffin Summer Soirees Cards

Good Monday morning!

I had a great weekend playing with my new Cricut Explore.  There so many lovely cards to make with the Anna Griffin Soiree images included with the machine.  I made a few of my favorites.

I love the intricate design on this beautiful invitation card.

On this Thank You card I learned how to use the Antiquity pen.  The Cricut Explore system allows you to cut and write all in one step.

Here's another fabulous card that I made.

I was able to make a few other projects that I will show later this week.  One is a beautiful clock that I can't wait to share with you.

I am so happy with my Explore.  I know there is still a lot to learn but I am looking forward to exploring all its great features.

Hope you'll be back!

Say Cheese

Happy Friday friends!

Today I would like to share a page layout using DCWV's Chalk Art stack.  I love all the chalkboard stack, a total of 36 sheets.  I was lucky to find this stack on sale at Joann's at half off and with an additional 25% off--love it, love it!

I used the Julie Nutting cowgirl doll to adorn my page.

The banners are embellishments by Recollections and the pink corners were made with Stampin' Up's photo corners punch.

Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend.

Goofy & Pluto Cricut Club Layout

Welcome!

This week our Cricut Club met and this is my version of Lisa Monter's creative layout.  Lisa designed the 2-page layout and each member followed her instructions.  Belonging to this monthly club is an excellent opportunity to use our Cricut machines and it's tons of fun.

I used pictures from our trip to the Disneyland Resort in June.  My granddaughters waited for Goofy to show up while waiting outside Goofy's Kitchen.

We used the Mickey and Friends cartridge for all the cut outs.  Hope you enjoyed this scrapbooking adventure.

Today!

Today is a great day!

My granddaughters attended a birthday party at the skating ring with friends.  Can you tell they enjoyed themselves.

I used My Mind's Eye Chalk Studio paper and layered stickers.  Also added a pretty Recollections rhinestone.

I have to say this layout was quick to put together.  The pretty paper and stickers made it easy to assemble.

Thanks for joining me today!
