Li' Primrose

Thanks for stopping by.

Today I want to show you a layout I made at Scrappin' Time this weekend.  I used the Lil Primrose paper collection by Kaiser Craft.  The picture shows two of my granddaughters Angie and Natie who are "sisters."

I cut out a large floral bloom from the ‘High Tea’ patterned paper.  Also added a strip of blushing bride satin pleated ribbon across the page.

Here I used several designs from the Lil Primrose collectables pack which contains 48 designs.

This cute little girl is only one of several in the collectables package.

This layout used alot of flowers. The rosettes were made using the scoring board.

My inspiration for this layout can be found @ http://www.annascraftcupboard.com.au/blog/?p=14816

Supplies used:

Lil Primrose paper and collectables
Recollections pearls
Storybook cartridge
Recollections flowers
Martha Stewart scoring board
Crystal Stickles
Stampin' Up banner punch
Stampin' Up satin pleated ribbon
Martha Stewart punch

I hope your week is starting off good and that you come back and visit again.

Hello and thanks for visiting!

I'm always searching for something to write on and sometimes its frustrating not being able to find a piece of paper.  I bought this mini clipboard at the Dollar Tree Store and then decorated it.

Supplies used:

Jubilee Bright Flowers DSP
Lovely Floral cartridge
Two Tags die by Stampin' Up
pleated satin ribbon by Stampin' Up
Michael's decorative clothes pin

Now I'll be able to quickly reach for my decorated clipboard when I need to write a note.
I'm looking forward to a great weekend.  Hope you have a great one too!

Kissing Booth Mini Heart Album

Hello and welcome to my blog.

For this mini album I used The Kissing Booth paper stack by Basic Grey.  Such beautiful paper that I almost didn't want to cut it.  For the embellishments I used so many things I don't remember everything I used.

This is the end of my album, now to find the pictures to place in it.

Hope you liked this project and thanks for stopping by to spend sometime with me.

LOVE !!

Good morning everyone!

At my free crop last night, I worked on a couple of projects, but I was only able to finish this layout.  I used DCWV's designer paper and embellishments.  I cut the flourish swirl background with the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge at fit to page length.

The black frame was cut from the Fancy Frames cartridge.  I just bought this cart and I am loving it!

The black rhinestone frame is by Recollections and all the other embellishments are by DCWV.

Thanks for stopping by and please come back again.  See you soon.

FRIENDS

Good morning blog Friends!!

Graphic 45's ABC Primer paper has been one of my favorite paper collections.  I've made several projects with this paper pad, but still had a few sheets to use up.

This two-page layout was easy to make using up the rest of my paper pad.

All of the embellishments were also part of the paper pad.

The little kid pictures are adorable and I chose just a few.

Behind each of the images I can place more pictures.

Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day.

Quick Post

Hi everyone, I been MIA for several days and so I wanted to share a quick post with a couple cards I made this weekend.  This first one was made using Stampin' Up's Beautiful Butterflies BigZ die, the pretty Doily die and Little Leaves die.

This card was made using Stampin' Up's new Apothecary Art stamp set and the coordinating Labels framelits dies.  The designer paper is one of the free products you can earn through Sale-A-Bration which runs until March 31st.

Hopefully my schedule will slow down this week and I'll be able to share more projects.  Thanks for visiting.

Valentine Cards

Good Wednesday morning!

Next week is Valentine's Day already so I took time to make a few cards.  Hope you like them.

This is an easel card using the Greeting Card Kids and Hand-Penned Holidays stamp sets by Stampin' Up (SU).  Also used both the heart and scallop trim border punches.  The Everyday Enchantment (#126154) designer paper can be yours for Free with any $50 order during Sale-A-Bration.

A 5" by 5" card made with a heart doily and the Scallop Trim Corner punch by SU.

Another easel card using the Well Scripted stamp set and Elegant Lines impressions embossing folder by SU.

You still have a few more days to make a card for that
special someone.

Thoughts of Encouragement

We often pray, "God, if you will change my circumstances, then I'll change."  No, it works the other way around.  We have to be willing to change our attitudes and deal with the issues God brings up; then God will change those circumstances.

IMAGINE !

Welcome to my blog!

I enjoyed attending a spiritual retreat this weekend.  I learned alot about myself.  Knowing how precious life is, was an inspiration for my layout.  I used  a new stack of paper called Antiquities.

Supplies used:

Antiquities paper pad by GCD Studios
Recollections rhinestone dress form
Tim Holtz tickets
Recollections ribbon
Jolee's boutique flower
Wall Decor and More cartridge
Michaels rhinestones
wood bird cage

Notice I didn't use one butterfly.  Believe me I had to restrain myself because I was so tempted to use several butterflies.

Thank you for stopping by to visit and have a great week.

Spellbinder Storage Journal

Good Friday everyone!

For the past few years I have been buying Spellbinders dies, but was not using them because I didn't have the Grand Calibur machine.  I know you can use them on other die cutting machines, but I've had problems with the layering so my dies just sat there.  I finally bought the Grand Calibur and now I'm addicted to using the dies.

To store the dies I tried a couple of plastic containers, but it didn't work out well.  I researched storage solutions on www.YouTube.com and this is what I found.  I made this 6" x 12" chipboard journal and lined it with designer paper from Pretty as a Peacock and Love Letters paper pads by Recollections.  I used 10 of them and joined them with three metal rings.  Then I cut strips of magnets and glued them to the chipboard.  The dies hold very well onto the magnets.

With this storage journal I can add more chipboard pages as I buy more of these Spellbinders dies.  I loved this idea and it was a good opportunity to use up some of my paper stash.

Thanks for visiting and I wish everyone a blessed weekend.
