Grandchilden

Happy Friday!

We've come to the end of another week and in fact another month.  Tomorrow will be the start of March and it already feels like 2014 is going by too quickly.

Today I have a wood project I made a few weeks ago at a She's Crafty Party.  I've wanted to share it but I don't have school pictures of my other three granddaughters.  So before more time passes I wanted to share what I made.

("Grandchildren, we hold their hands for a little while and their hearts forever.")
I love the way my wood blocks came out.  Just have to wait for the other pictures.

Have a safe and blessed weekend.

Sassy Girls

Welcome!

These pictures are from January 2009 when my granddaughter celebrated her 7th birthday and we went to see the High School Musical on Ice.  I made this layout using the waterfall technique and was able to crop 20 pictures.

The Artbooking cartridge has this beautiful doily cut out which I used on the background.  I cut it out at 10 inches with the real dial on.

The designer paper Chantilly and the rosettes are by Close to my Heart.  The banners were embossed and distressed.

The title "Sassy Girls" was cut from the Artbooking cartridge.

The little leaves die by Stampin' Up was used to cut the leaves.

It's hard to see but my layout has several beautiful butterflies and rhinestone swirls.

Thanks for dropping by.

Hello World!

Hello World!  How is your day?

I love spending time with my granddaughters.  They bring happiness and joy into my world.  They are always quick to smile and act a little crazy.

We spent a fun day at the Spring Preserves here in Las Vegas, over 3 years ago during the summer of 2010.

They loved to pose and act silly.  Looking back at these pictures made my day.  It is always good to remember those fun moments from the past.

SWEET

Welcome to another week of crafting!

The Artiste cartridge by Close To My Heart has this great decorative frame which I couldn't wait to use.  I love the stunning look.

The Sweet banner title was cut from the Artbooking cartridge.

All the butterflies are Martha Stewart punches.  I thoroughly enjoyed creating this layout.  Thanks for dropping by and please come back again.

Together

Welcome!

Here's a layout that was inspired by the Artbooking cartridge by Close To My Heart.  The great banner with title can be found on this cartridge.

Together with my daughter and granddaughters in the Bahamas.  It was a beautiful sunny day that I will forever cherish.

The elegant background overlay and the journaling tag are also cut from the Artbooking cartridge.  The bike embellishment is by Recollections.

Thank you for stopping by.

Secret Garden Paper Bag Mini

Happy Monday blog friends!!

This weekend was a blessing for me.  I started my Close To My Heart hostess club and had 12 ladies join.  This is incredible!  For the next 6 months we will meet once a month to craft.

I made this quick two paper bag mini last night. Yes, this is made with two black Celebrate It paper sacks and then decorated with Graphic 45's Secret Garden paper.

When opened there is a place for a photo and a pocket to store tags or more photos.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Let's keep on crafting!

Valentine Card

It's Friday and love is in the air!

I love to craft and when I saw this type of card on Pinterest I knew I was stung by the love bug.

This is a folding screen card that is super easy to make.  You need an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock scored and creased at 2-3/4", 5-1/2" and 8-1/4".  Use a border punch for the top, then cut the bottom to 6-11/16" long.

Use the Stampin' Up decorative label punch, half way into the punch to create the legs.  Now you can decorate and embellish!

I used the Love Story designer paper and stickers by Echo Park Paper Company.  I also used other embellishments from my stash.

Enjoy and make a special someone this card.

Have a blessed weekend, Erlinda.

Christmas 2012

Happy Hump Day!

I admit I am quite behind in scrapbooking my pictures.  These are pictures from Christmas 2012.

As you can see, I used the waterfall technique again. I am loving this technique because it enables me to use lots of pictures on my layouts.

I was able to mat a total of 14 pictures on one page.  The small pictures measure 3" x 3-3/4" and are held together with washi tape.

My granddaughters love to go to the Bellagio Hotel here in Las Vegas to see the Christmas display.  It is always beautifully decorated.

I love poinsettias and the way they look on my page.  I am trying to catch up with my scrapbooking, but I know that may never happen.

Enjoy your day and keep on crafting!

Paper Dolls

Welcome and happy Monday!

Today I want to share a project that I will be making with my new group of Close To My Heart Hostess club members.
I used the CTMH Paper Doll stamp set (D1547) to decorate the cover of the folder.

When opened there are stamped paper dolls that a little girl can color, cut, and play with.

This would make a great gift or a party favor for a little girl.  You can also use this type of folder to hold cards on one side and envelopes on the other.

Supplies used:

Paper Doll stamp set by CTMH
My Community cartridge
Prima flowers

May all your days be sweet and refreshing!
