Scallop Tag cards

Welcome!

I recently bought the Scallop Tag punch by Stampin' Up and these are a few of the cards I've made with it.

The designer paper is the Lollydoodle by Close To My Heart and the little owl was cut with the Artbooking cartridge.

This is also the Lollydoodle paper.

On this card I embossed the paper with the new Quatrefoil embossing folder.  Along with my favorite butterfly and the Little Leaves sizzlet die by Stampin' Up this makes a beautiful card.

This is the inside of the card with a special note:

 "Have a Nice Day!"

FRIENDS

Happy Wednesday!

I recently found this picture of a mother/daughter luncheon I attended back in 1999 with my daughter, her friends and their mothers.

The designer paper from the Little Miss by Bo Bunny.  I used a few wood embellishments, two bird cages and the title Friends.  The picture is layered on a pretty white doily.

Here's that beautiful Vivienne Butterfly die by Memory Box, Inc. with pearl swirls.

The pretty flowers are by Recollections.

Thanks for visiting my blog.

You're The Best!

Welcome!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend.  I had a Close To My Heart workshop for one of my friends and I made this card to thank her.

I love butterflies and this Vivienne Butterfly die by Memory Box, Inc. is no exception.  I embellished it with a few rhinestones and it looks beautiful.

Here's another card with that same butterfly.  The white overlay was cut with the Artbooking cartridge.

Hope the start of a new week is filled with crafting ideas.

It's A Celebration!

Good Friday morning!

I saw a version of this card on Facebook and knew I wanted to make one.  Using lots of my scraps for the banners, I made 12 kits of this card.  I am having a Close To My Heart workshop tonight and I am sharing this card with the guests.

I also wanted to share with you some reorganization I am making to my craft room.  I actually have two crafts rooms and soon I will have to give up one of them.  I have family moving in and I need an extra bedroom; so I'm having to move my stuff around.  Even though it feels overwhelming, I'm focusing on doing a little each day.

Have a great weekend and enjoy some crafting time!

Easter Swing Card

Hello blog followers!

Today I have a swing card for Easter which you can easily make with the Artiste cartridge by Close To My Heart.  I also used the CTMH Some Bunny stamp set, so cute!

On the front of the card I used one of the new embossing folders by CTMH.  This one is the Quatrefoil.

Again, with this cartridge you can make several different types of swing cards.  Here are a couple of more cards I made.  They can be addicting.

Have a very blessed day and I invite you to come back.

Easter Bunny Basket

Good morning!

My Close To My Heart hostess club has been going better than I expected.  I have 13 wonderful ladies that joined and I am having a great time crafting with them.

Next month we will be making this cute Easter Bunny basket which I borrowed the instructions from Tracey Sanders @ www.gr8scraps.blogspot.com

The pieces were cut by using the Art Philosophy cartridge sold exclusively by Close To My Heart.

Have a wonderful week and please come back again.

LOVE

Welcome to my blog!

On this layout I decided to use several of my tools.  The beautiful center motif was cut with the Artiste cartridge on the Cricut.  Used a circle punch to adorn the center of the motif along with a rhinestone.

For the red medallion I used the Simply Scoring Board by Stampin' Up (SU) to make it.  On the edges of my photo mats I used the scallop trim corner punch also by SU.

The designer paper is Love Letters by Recollections.

The elegant corner swirl is a die cut by Memory Box which I cut on the Spellbinder's Grand Caliber.  I used my Xyron sticker maker to add adhesive to the swirl.

That's it, now on to my next project.  Thanks for visiting!

You Are My Sunshine

Good Morning and Welcome!

My granddaughter Angie's middle name is "Sunshine" and she is a ray of sunshine to me.  She is 12 years old and is my technology expert that I am always going to for help.

I love this type of layout because you can get good use of all the leftover scraps and make pretty banners.

The title was cut from the Just Because Cards cartridge.

Thanks for stopping by and please come back again.

Sugar & Spice

Good Morning Friends!

I'm happy to share this layout with you today.  Emma is such a happy baby and so precious.

I used one of Julie Nutting's stamp dolls to decorate my layout.  The designer paper is the My Favorite Things stack by Recollections.

The title and banner were cut from the Artbooking cartridge.

Doesn't Emma make you smile?  Smile and have a happy day!

Cousins

Hooray, it's Monday!

Can you tell I'm retired.  Since I don't have to go to work my Mondays are always happy ones.  In fact, everyday is a gift from God.  Last year, after many years of not seeing my cousin, we were able to reunite.  It was a very special time for both of us.

I cut the title and accent from the Heritage cartridge.

The French Country designer paper is from Graphic 45.  Then I used a Recollections black rhinestone swirl and a Tim Holtz ticket to add some journaling.

Thank you for visiting.
