Christmas Card Pouch

Hello!

This weekend just flew by, but I did get to make this holiday project.  I found a great tutorial for this card pouch on Split Coast Stampers.  Here's the link:

This is the inside view.  I used the Close To My Heart Yuletide Carol (X7187B) paper kit.

You can fit about 3 cards with envelopes on either side of the pouch.

The cards measure 4" by 4 1/2".  The tutorial is very easy to follow.

These cute card pouches would make nice gifts to make.

Enjoy your week and have fun crafting.

Halloween Candy Box

TGIF!

Well after being retired for 11 years I went back to being a working girl.  This week I started working full-time at my parish as the receptionist.

I haven't had much time to craft, but last night I did make this quick and easy Halloween candy box using the Artiste cartridge and Quoth the Raven stamp set by Close To My Heart.

Thanks for visiting.

Artfully Sent Cards

It's Wednesday!

I finally had a chance to play with my new Cricut cartridge, Artfully Sent, exclusive to Close To My Heart.  I love this Halloween card which is found on page 44 of the Instruction Book.

Christmas will be here soon and the following two cards are great holiday cards.  This one can be found on page 49.

And my favorite is this snowflake/reindeer swing card.  Look on page 47 to create this card.

I highly recommend the Artfully Sent cartridge.  It is a cardmakers' dream.  Thanks for visiting my blog.

Smiles

Hi everyone, hope you had a wonderful weekend.

I attended the Close To My Heart's Thriving 30 Striving event and had a great time.  We were treated to some fun projects, great food and inspiring speakers.

This is a page layout that I scraplifted from the current CTMH catalog on page 102.

The white overlay was cut with the Artbooking cartridge and the pretty flowers were cut with Sizzix dies.  Hope you like my version of this layout.

Friends & Besties

Happy Friday!

Today I want to share a picture of my two granddaughters taken several years back.  I love how they're holding each other looking into the ocean.

I used the Chalk Art stack by DCWV.  I also fuzzy cut the pretty flowers.  This stack is packed with beautiful paper.

It fills my heart with joy when I see my granddaughters treat each other as friends.

Tomorrow I'm attending a Close To My Heart Creative Celebration.  I think I will have a lot to share next week, so please come back.

B-O-O Mini Album

B - O - O !

Are you feeling the Halloween spirit?  Most stores are now packed with Halloween decorations that you can't help feeling spooky!

I used Recollections Haunted Estate paper pad to decorate this mini.  I bought the Boo chipboard from Michaels.

I used stickers from my stash of embellishments

There's room for about five pictures to save your treasured Halloween memories.

Now I'm off to make another Halloween project!  Thanks for visiting.

First Day of School

Good Morning!

This is one of my favorite paper lines in the new Close To My Heart catalog.  It is called Chalk It Up.

One side of my layout is a 12 x12 page, great for adding pics of my grandchildren going back to school.  I decorated it with the Chalk It Up Complements.

On the opposite page I used the Picture My Life sheet protector.  I cut my own cards from the Chalk It Up Paper to decorate each slot.  There's enough room for tons of more pictures.

Combining both a 12 x 12 and the PML cards is a great way to save all your memories.

 Have a great week!

Halloween

Welcome!

Today was a day filled with fun.  I got to crop with a long time friend, Penny, whom I had not seen in some time.  Blessings come when you least expect them and this was such a day!  We both made this Halloween layout.

I used the CTMH Artbooking cartridge to cut up all the embellishments.  Then I added some glitter Stickles to the title and spider.

The paper is from My Mind's Eye glittered Halloween paper stack.  The glittered haunted house was already imprinted on the paper.

The skull picture frames were also cut from the Artbooking cartridge and then I added lime green glitter Stickles.

Have fun scrapbooking and call a friend to join you.

Time To Celebrate!

Happy Labor Day!

Here's another layout documenting my granddaughter's birthday.  This designer sheet is by Me and My Big Ideas.

I made the pennants with toothpicks and washi tape.  I saw this idea on Pinterest.  The photo mat is by My Mind's Eye.

I used another of those pretty doilies which I cut on the Cricut Explore.

Hope you continue to have a wonderful holiday weekend.
