Scalloped Circle Flower Tutorial

I found this cute watering can on Splitcoast Stampers and I fell in love with it right away.  The flower is so pretty that in person it almost looks real.  I've included the tutorial for you in case you want to try making them.  Let me know what you think.
1 3/4-inch Scallop Circle Punch (#119854)

Use any color card stock to punch out 3 scallop circles using the Scallop Circle punch.  I used Pretty in Pink cardstock (CS) by Stampin' Up.
Crimper (#101618)
Run all three circles through your Crimper about 12 times or more to loosen the fibers in the paper to make it more pliable.

After crimping the three scallop circles, crumple each scallop circle into a tight ball.  Then open it up.

If you have crimped and crumpled sufficiently, they should peel apart into 2 layers easily. Carefully peel apart making sure you don't tear the paper.  The inside layer resembles a "suede" look and this side will be the visible part of your flower.

Layer the scallops one on top of each other with the "suede" side up.  Using a paper piercer, punch through all the layers and hold together with a brad.

Next, pinch each layer up, one at a time over the brad until  all six layers are balled up.
Two Step Bird Extra-Large punch (#117191)

Gently pull layers down to form a beautiful flower.  For the leaves  I used the Bird punch, but you can use a different leaf.

Are these not the most beautiful flowers you've made?  Once you've made one, you'll get hooked and you'll want to make some more.

Matchbox Die  (#114890)

You can use these decorative containers for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or birthdays to give someone special something sweet or some glitzy jewelry.

Hope you liked this project.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Tomorrow I will post a page layout using these flowers.  I would love to get your comments.
