TGIF and welcome to my blog!
I came upon this picture of my daughter and myself on our 2007 Hawaiian cruise. It was abandoned in a box and I could not leave it there so I created this layout. I used Recollections' new stack Femme Fatale/Mujer Fatal beautiful designer paper. This picture does not show up very well. The colors are more vibrant in person.
Aloha was cut from the Life's A Beach cartridge on pink glitter card stock. The small butterflies were created with the Recollections punch and the larger butterflies with the Martha Stewart Monarch butterfly punch.
Tim Holtz' elegant flourishes die was used for the black swirls. The large flower on the right was made by my friend Cecy.
The pretty pink floral embellishment and the pink pearls are by Recollections. The two-tone flower was made with the scallop circle punch.
I decided to frame my layout because unfortunately I cannot find any other photos from my trip to Hawaii. Four years ago I wasn't scrapbooking and to my dismay those photos are lost.
Enjoy your weekend and I hope you come back soon.
