Book mark |
Here's a really pretty bookmark you can make for those avid book readers on your Christmas list.
The book mark slips over the edge of the page you want to mark. This adds a pretty effect when giving a book as a gift.
Punch Potpourri, #120124 |
Here are the instructions: Cut a piece of card stock 4" x 4". Here I used a scrap piece of Tempting Turquoise card stock.
Mark the 2-inch center of this piece and then fold the top corners into the center to form a triangle that goes about halfway down the square of the card stock.
Punch the lower part of the card stock with one of Stampin' Up's decorative punches.
I traced the upper corner on a piece of designer paper and then cut it out.
Cover the folds with this piece of designer paper to secure the corner. Now you're ready to decorate!
Here's another book mark I decorated with the bird and boho flowers punches by Stampin' Up.
As you can see I used ribbons, rhinestones, and pearls to decorate my book marks. Are you ready to try your hand at making a book mark? Just use anything you have on-hand and your creative juices to make something special for someone on Santa's List. |
