Christmas Gift Idea No. 11

Christmas card
I hope you still believe in the gift of giving out Christmas cards.  I truly believe that sending a card or receiving one is a tradition that holds the feeling of the Spirit of Christmas.  This will definitely be one of many cards that I will make and send out to family and friends.
Stampin' Up card stock, White Whisper and Baja Breeze
This card has a unique technique that I had not tried before.  If you decide to make it, you will need one piece of Whisper White card stock (CS) 8 1/2" by 5 1/2" scored and folded at
4 1/4".  One piece of  Baja Breeze CS cut at 5 1/4" by 4"   Another piece of white CS cut at 5" by 3 3/4".
Snowflake set #2 Sizzlits (#113449, $19.195)
With an extra piece of Baja Breeze CS cut out 6 to 8 different snowflakes with the Sizzlits dies on the Big Shot.

Glue the snowflakes to the small piece of white CS randomly and off to the edges.

Turn the piece over and snip off the edges that are sticking out.
Square Lattice  embossing folder (#119976, $7.95)
Next, is the technique I was talking about. Place the CS with snowflakes in the embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot.
Now it looks like the snowflakes are part of the card stock, but they're not.  Mount the Baja Breeze CS to the white base and then the snowflakes CS.
Bells & Boughs (#121142, #14.95)
This stamp set is from the Holiday Mini catalog.  I stamped the "A merry Christmas" on a scrap piece of white CS with Pacific Point ink.
Decorative Label Punch (#120907, $16.95)
Used the Decorative Label punch and then sponged the edges.
Add some ribbon, mount the saying on to the card with dimensionals, and final touch add some glitter to the snowflakes and you're done.  I love the results.  Don't forget to decorate your envelopes.  I hope you liked it.  Now go make some Christmas cards!
