Welcome, come on in.....no need to take your shoes off!
I could not resist making this cute Halloween silverware bag.
This is the source of my inspiration. I bought this silverware bag at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant in St. George, Utah. One of my favorite places to visit. The bag is made of felt and cotton. I decided to make a few with paper.
I traced and cut the bag twice on orange cardstock, then glued them together on all sides except the top. Leaving an opening for the utensils. The witches shoes were cut at 2" from the Happy Hauntings cartridge.
Cut the phrase "BOO!" @ 3/4" and used the "O's" as the buckles for the shoes. Also added Stickles to the buckles.
Cut two strips of orange CS, about 3/4" x 3", for the stockings and also added stickles. Then I decorated the rest of the bag with green ribbon, yellow ruffled ribbon and a strip of punched black rick rack. Used red sticky strip tape to adhere these embellishments.
Place plastic utensils inside the bag and this makes a super cute decoration to put on your Halloween table. If you want to make one or more bags and need further instructions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
OMG! just realized today is Thursday. The weekend is almost here, and Halloween is right around the corner.
Thanks for stopping by.
