Good morning and welcome friends.
I think I'm done and ready for Christmas with 5 days to go. I decorated my tree, bought and wrapped all the gifts and finally have my table set for our family Christmas dinner. I'm expecting a houseful of merriment with my three children and their spouses along with my six grandchildren. Oh, and a visit from Santa.
I've seen these cute utensil holders and decided to make my own. I made this one by tracing the shape of a tree on foam twice and cut half off of one to form a pocket. Then I glued the two pieces together on the sides and bottom with the glue gun. I cut 12 pieces of 5/8" wide ribbons at 4 1/2", folded, and glued the ends together. Glue the ribbons to the foam tree starting with five at the bottom, then the middle row of four and ending with three for the top. Glue a jingle bell at the top and you're done.
This is the back view of the pocket where you place your utensils. As you can see I used my fine China and sterling silverware (lol). I hope you like this idea and if you have any questions, please leave me a comment. You still have time to make a few of your own.My table is ready and so am I.
