Good Monday morning everyone.
I needed some pretty flowers for a mini album I want to make so I went to my stash of scraps to make these flowers.
This is the Fancy Flower punch by Stampin' Up and my stash of 2-sided designer paper scraps which I was happy to use up.
I punched over 50 flower cutouts out of scraps.
From one flower cut one petal off and discard. On a second flower cutout remove two petals and save that piece.
Curl each piece into a cone and glue with either a liquid glue or hot glue gun.
Fold the last flower in half and make a snip in the middle. Then fold in the opposite direction and make another snip forming an X.
This is the way the back side should look. Snip the bottom off the first flower cutout, add glue and insert into the center (X) of this flower. Do the same for the second cutout. The last cutout (the smallest one) is the center of the flower and the tip should go into the center "X". Once the glue is dry, snip the back to flatten the flower.
These flowers are for my mini scallop album. I used Stickles on two flowers and sprayed one with sheer shimmer by Tsukineo. The little leaf is a Stampin' Up sizzlet and the black elegant flourish is a Tim Holtz bigz die.
Later this week I will show you the completed mini album so make sure you visit again. Thanks for stopping by.
