I love to Cheer her on.  She is always very motivated to do her best.

Tattered Lace Cards

Good Morning Friends!

I recently found the website called Create and Craft and now I'm addicted to watching their daily TV episodes.  As I was watching, they showed this beautiful Chantilly Bow die.

Of course, it was on sale so it made its way to my craft room.

There's a small and big bow in the kit.  This card uses the small bow, so cute!

Hope you will come back soon.

Lovely Hearts Card

Hello Everyone!

Today, I was reading my emails and came across a tutorial by Dawn Olchefske showing how to create this card.

My card is slightly different, but this tutorial was my inspiration.  Thanks Dawn!

Easter Tri-Fold Cards

Welcome back!

It's been awhile since I last posted and I can only say I haven't been very motivated.  But today I have a couple of cards to share for Easter.

These are tri-fold cards which look difficult but are actually very simple.  You can go to www.YouTube.com and find several tutorials on how to make them.

This is how the card looks when completely opened.

I used Easter designer paper and lots of stickers from my stash to decorate the cards.

You can actually get two cards out of a 12" x 12" sheet of paper.  The card measures 12" x 5 1/2".  Once it is folded it measures 4" x 5 1/2"  and fits perfectly into an A2 envelope.

Enjoy your day!

I must admit that I am one proud grandmother.  My grandchildren bring so much joy into my life.  Here are two of my pretty granddaughters, Natie and Alee.

I truly love them to the moon and back.

If you're a grandparent, I hope that you will agree how special our grandchildren are!

Flower Girl

Happy Thursday!

Today, I have a throwback Thursday picture to share of my beautiful daughter at the age of 3 years old.  This picture was taken January, 1986.

To be honest I don't remember whose wedding she was a flower girl for, but she looked very pretty.

I love all the sparkle I added to my black and white layout.  I also used a couple of punches to create and finish my sketch.

Thanks for dropping by and please come back.

Seriously

Good Morning Friends!

This 2-page layout was part of a Cricut Explore class. The pictures are from our visit to the annual Teddy Bear Clinic event at Centennial Hospital.

In addition to learning more about the Cricut Explore, we made this awesome layout at Barbara's class.  We used the stamps and paper pack included in the Close To My Heart Workshops on the Go Hopscotch Scrapbooking Kit.

I added gold sequins and Babycakes brads.   The extra thick flaxen color twine is a new CTMH product which I loved.

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment.

Happy Valentine's Day

Welcome to my blog!

Well its unbelievable how quickly the start of the new year is passing.  Next week we'll be celebrating the month of love--February.

Yesterday, my 10-year old granddaughter asked what I was making.  When I said I was creating a valentine layout, she quickly made a banner of small hearts for me which of course I had to use.

Hope you're inspired to spread the l-o-v-e!

Supplies used:

Colorbok paper pack
Creative Imaginations designer paper
Echo Park stickers
Jolie valentine stickers
Stampin' Up triple heart punch

Welcome To The Bahamas

Welcome!

In 2012, I travelled to the Bahamas along with my daughter and her family.  Even though I had scrapbooked many of my pictures, I still had a lot more so I decided to try the Project Life method.

Although I have not done much with Project Life, it was the ideal method to scrapbook so many pictures.  I added decorative paper from "Beaches of the World" by Paper House.

I also used rub-ons and stickers.

The sand castle and crab are stickers by Recollections.

My granddaughters had their hair braided by Marilyn Monroe, that's what the hair stylist told us her name was.

I love this type of photo pocket page where I can add nine
4 x 4 cut photos.  I had a lot of fun scrapbooking my Bahamas' photos.

Thanks for visiting my blog and please come back again.

Winter Wonderland

Good Monday morning friends!

I haven't posted for awhile and this is my first post for the New Year.  Every year I take my granddaughters to the Christmas exhibit at the Bellagio Hotel.  The exhibit is always spectacular and filled with colorful images.

The Christmas tree is huge and beautifully decorated.

A lot of the images are animated and we are always mesmerized by what we see.

Supplies used:

Mrs. Claus's Kitchen stack by DCWV
Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge
Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge
Martha Stewart snowflake punch
Diamond Stickles
Red rhinestones

Thanks for visiting my blog.

J-O-Y

Joy to everyone!

Well we're at the countdown to Christmas and here's another Christmas layout I made.

I mostly used Close To My Heart supplies from the Yuletide Carol paper pack and complements.

I added red Stickles and red sequins to embellish this layout.  Hope it will inspire you to scrapbook.
