Brushed Paper Cards

Happy Hump Day!

I'm having too much of a good thing.  The new Brushed paper by Close To My Heart has my creativity juices on fast drive.  Here I used a 1" x 5 1/2" strip of this paper along with  dies by Memory Box.

On this gate-fold card I used a 3" x 3" scrap of Brushed paper, the Floral embossing folder and butterfly die.

The banner card was made with both sides of Brushed, the Floral embossing folder and Tim Holtz Tattered Leaves die.

On the last card, I simply used a Martha Stewart punch and the butterfly by Memory Box.

I still have a few sheets of leftover paper, let me see what else I can make.  Hope you come back to view my next project.

Life is Beautiful layout

Hello blog friends!

Well as you can see I'm still trying to use up my paper scraps from the Brushed paper stack by Close to My Heart.  To make this layout I loved using this paper.

I'm also addicted to the new stamp set, "Your Own Kind of Wonderful (D1627)."  Both verses and the beautiful butterflies are from this set.

I also used the black Sparkles Flourishes (Z1745) and the new Floral Embossing Folder (Z1994) to decorate my page layout.

I hope you enjoyed viewing my layout and would love to read your comments.  Thanks for visiting today.

Life is Beautiful

Good morning friends!

Today, I have some cards I made with leftover designer paper from Close to my Heart's new Brushed paper (X7190B).

I used the new stamp set "Your Own Kind of Wonderful" (D1627) to decorate all four cards.  It's hard to see but this card is embossed with the Floral Embossing Folder (Z1994).

The beautiful butterfly is from the same stamp set.

I had a lot of paper leftover from my projects that we did at my workshop this past weekend.  All this new product premiers August 1st when the new catalog begins.

As you can see, I still have a lot of this beautiful paper.  Guess I'll have to continue making more projects.

Thanks for joining me today.

Beautiful

Welcome!

I have a quick layout to share today.  I used paper from the Black Currant stack by DCWV.  Love the bright colors.

I also added Street Lace epoxy stickers by DCWV.  The black swirls were cut with Tim Holtz' Elegant Flourishes die.

Thanks for stopping by.

Leaving on a Jet Plane!

Good Monday morning!

Today, we start a new Cricut Club with some amazing crafters.  Dawn created the page layout and everyone could either copy it or make their own version.  This was a fun project.

The original layout used cartridges I don't own, so I substituted with New Arrival for the airplane and Cuttin Up for the font letters. The clouds were cut with Create A Critter.

For the luggage I used Summer Vacation.

Our new Cricut Club plans to meet once a month and we will take turns creating a layout.

Enjoy your week and come back soon.

Live In The Moment

Hi Bloggers!

About a week and a half ago, I was enjoying the Close To My Heart Convention.  It was wonderful to "live in the moment."

These are some of the CTMH Convention Make and Take cards and tag that we enjoyed making.  We used all new products.

This is our new Annual Idea Catalog which premiers on August 1st.  Just can't wait to enjoy all the new products, especially our new Cricut cartridge Artfully Sent.

Enjoy your week by crafting each day!

Explore

Happy 4th of July!!

During the Close To My Heart Convention we made a couple of page layouts.  For this one, I made several changes by using the Artbooking cartridge.

The paper we used is from the new Wanderful Polka Dot and the Seaside paper lines.

Once I develop my pictures from Convention, I know this page layout will look fabulous.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great holiday weekend.

Happy Little Life

I'm back!!

It was great attending the Close To My Heart Convention at the Disneyland Resort, but I'm happy to be back.  This is one of the layouts that we made at convention.

I love, love the title.  It was stamped with the new Handwritten Print Alphabet stamp set.  Also used another new set called Happy Birds for the flowers and bird images.

The paper packs that we used are also new, they are the Chalk It Up and Wanderful packs.  It's not a typo it's Wanderful and not wonderful.

All this product and tons of more new items will be available August 1st when the new catalog premiers.  The new catalog has been changed to an annual catalog with two additional inspiration books later in the year.  I will post more information in a few days.

Thanks for returning to visit my blog.

Here's another card and this one is finished.

HAPPY!

HAPPY MONDAY!

It's great to be back after a week of enjoying all the fun with the kids at Vacation Bible School.  I'm ready to get back to scrapbooking.  This layout is of my two granddaughters during our trip to the Bahamas.

As you can see, both of my granddaughters are feeling "happy."  Wish I could always keep that feeling alive.  I love to be happy but then life happens and sometimes it makes it hard to feel happy.

I think I'll frame this layout, so that I will be reminded to be "happy."  Thanks for coming back to visit.  Stay "happy" and have a wonderful week!

Just stopping by to let you know that this week my church will be having Vacation Bible School (VBS) and I will be busy helping with all the hustle and bustle of this fantastic event.  I won't have time to craft unfortunately and ask for your patience until next week.

Please come back and I promise to share more crafting ideas.

Thanks!
